Local Tourism for Salisbury

very close to x3 bus stop at town centre. stonehenge tickets can be bought here (family tickets are not sold here)

Lovely town to visit. Local residents are so nice and easy to talk to. A good retirement location. 9 miles away from Stonehenge. Easy access to nearby towns and villages. The information centre is at the centre of town and very helpful with directions and guidance if you need advise on getting around.

This sight is immaculate. Amazing views. Luvly staff very helpful. Beautifully kept grounds. Shower block is pristine. The castle is within five minutes walk. We have dogs and there is so much freedom for them. You can see the cathedral from the site. Well worth a visit

Lovely big Field for dogs to run around in, or to do running or even walking. Great place to picnic and also to play any ball games with the kids. Over all grateful field.

This is a large park which is easily accessible and has a number of facilities/amenities. There are two carparks, one which is smaller just off the dual carriageway. I think that one is free. The other is pay and display. It has a great skate-park, and two main play areas. The larger one has a slide. This park is used for Park Run every Saturday am.

Good place for a quick dog walk by the river play areas for children and a skate/ bmx park for teen-agers. Parking for free by the play park is limited and the pay and display is unfortunately​ set at town centre prices There is now a number of fitness exercise machines round the jogging walking trail which is measured at 780 or 1500 meters. There is nothing to stop the fit going round umpteen times so a 10k workout is feasible!

Nice little park on the outskirts of Salisbury City Centre. Great for a short stroll or dog walk. There is a children's playground, tennis courts etc with public toilets and its own small car park.

Love the tennis courts here and also has a field to walk dogs or do some running or even to have a picnic. There is also a park here with equipment for kids to play on and it's quite a large park.
